Fun in February (Maine’s Midcoast MardiGras!)

One of the things we love about Maine is the wintry splendor that occurs throughout the chilly months of December-March. Covering towns in glorious blankets of shimmering snow and glistening icicle. Camden is no exception and even has a celebration for all things ice, snow and of course toboggans.

You heard right, it’s time for the annual Winter Fest as well as the National Toboggan championships hosted right here at the Camden snow bowl. From February 4th-February 12 this sleepy MidCoast town comes alive with ice sculpting contests, snowboarding, concerts and more! There’s even a Fire and Ice party at Point Lookout in Maine complete with an ice luge, and snow bowling.

Whether you’re enjoying your time playing on the snowy slopes or shopping downtown, don’t forget to take a break from the cold and visit us in the gallery to warm up while you check out all of our “ice.”
